If anyone noticed I wasn't on quite as much last night, here's the reason why.. copy-pasted from my livejournal, sorry it's a bit long:
I'm a bad ninja.. I'm a very bad ninja.. T-T
So yesterday night, Stephanie was snuggling me and said randomly aloud, "I wish I could take you home with me." The more we thought about it, the more both of us decided it sounded like a very nice idea, since she works a lot this week, and Hoshi needs more snuggle time than just a couple of hours.
So Charles dropped both of us off at Stephanie's house (since I'm the one that drove, and my car there would be a bad idea) and I snuck down the trellis to her downstairs bedroom window. It was raining and dark, so lifting the gate that covered the hole where the window was was a little difficult, and I definitely couldn't shut it after me. We decided it would be alright to leave it open until the morning.
Enter Time of Snuggling ^-^
Enter morning time, which involved me sleeping in the closet for about an hour because we weren't sure if her mom was going to come ask her what she wanted for breakfast or not. 10:00 was right around the corner, the time Charles was to come pick me up, and I needed~ to get outside. However.. Stephanie's mom still hadn't left for work. Stephanie needed to go to work herself, so she told me not to leave until it was ten o'clock on the dot.
I waited around a little while (desperately needing to pee and wanting badly to brush my teeth). Then I heard a door close. Was it the door to the garage? I had no way of knowing, but it was 10:00, so I headed out the window. The cement surrounding the window is just a little bit taller than I am with my hands over my head, which is just a little annoying. If it was a little shorter, I wouldn't even have to use the trellis, just jump and grab onto the bricks at top to pull myself up. But at any rate, I pulled myself out of the hole, discovered it was still raining, and turned around to bend down and pull the gate back over the hole.
"Hi Holly."
I stopped. Looked up. And there was Stephanie's mom on the other side of the yard by the pool watching me, as if she had been there the whole time.
"Hi," I replied, but I don't know if my voice came out timidly or confidently, I was too startled to notice.
And then I turned around and walked out of the gate as if nothing had happened.
BAD NINJA~!! >.<!!
I've snuck into Stephanie's house only a couple of times before, and not since a year ago, I think.. so it's not like I'm a pro at it.. it used to give me such an adrenaline rush.. now I just feel like an idiot x.x;;
Luckily, it doesn't appear Stephanie's mom told her dad what had happened (obviously, because if she had, hell would be breaking out on earth as I type this). She didn't even really get disciplined, just got a stern talking to.. ^^; I think we decided that Stephanie's mom was indeed waiting for me outside, since she was just standing there under the awning of the pool house. She probably went outside when she got up and noticed that the gate was askew. The only reason I could think of why that would be is if someone went through the window, and the only one to do so would probably be me. She also waited until Stephanie left for work, and then immediately went outside. She was a little bit aways, but she didn't appear to be doing anything other than standing there, looking towards my direction..
So I still just feel completely ridiculous.. someone know where I can sign up for Ninja Lessons..? T-T
