Lady GaGa - Top 10 Countdowns

I only have 4 songs, but there they are:

4. Paparazzi (30) - "cause you know that baby, I..." that's the best part of the song easily. I just got this song now and am adding it to my 30th mix.
3. Poker Face (24) - Love the instruments used in this song especially in the beginning. Not to mention I pretty much have the whole song memorized.
2. LoveGame (24) - I've heard this song on the radio maybe 150 times, but it doesn't stop me from liking it. I love the main line "I wanna take a ride on your disco stick", no matter how sexual it's supposed to be. And I love the cut-off ending.
1. Just Dance (14) - I have to like this song. It's a classic, it's fun to sing along with and dance to and we even danced to this song in my dance class. I also love the weird "half psychotic, sick hypnotic" part. Overall, I love this song!


You should make a Britney Spears one because I definitely have over 10 songs by her.

1) Starstruck - maybe because it's heavy on the electro sound, maybe it's the catchy b/g beats and noises, maybe it's combination of the vocals, all i know is this track is full of awesome. It's like nothing I've heard before it

10. Fashion - This song is so much fun and doesn't try to be anything that it's not. It's about clothes and shoes and GaGa's cheeky pop vocals make this track such a gem. It definitely did not get the recognition it deserved.

09. Just Dance (feat. Colby O'Donis) - I first downloaded this song last spring because the ads on this forum kept advertising for the single. I was like "Lady GaGa? Well that's an odd name, let me check her out." I sampled the song and thought it was pretty standard, so I didn't download it. Since nobody else on the planet knew who she was at this point, I was in no hurry to download something from a potential flop artist. These ads kept showing up and a few days after checking it out, I downloaded it on iTunes. It was instant love. I used to drive back and forth between my parents' house and my ex's house (1 hour and 15 mins) and used to play this song on repeat. Not for the entire ride, but for a good twenty minutes. I know that smoking is a bad, gross habit that I am currently weening myself off of, I have fond memories of BLASTING this song on the highway, driving 80 mph and chain smoking. I felt so badass. Then the song finally blew up like 6 or more months later and the rest is history.

08. Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say) - A lot of reviews hate on this track, but I LOVE it! It's a great europop inspired track and the lyrics are so cute and relate-able. Dirty-Z and I love this track, so even though the lyrics have nothing to do with my friendship with him, it always makes me think of him.

07. Telephone (feat. Beyoncé) - How can you not love this song? Lyrically it is nothing amazing, it's just about having her cell blown up at the club. But the vocals, production and probably last minute collaboration with B make this track SUCH a fun one. I'm waiting for a video to be made because it's gonna be huge. It's currently my ringtone and as a result, my roommates can't stop singing "Stop calling, stop calling, I don't wanna think anymore!" They don't actually like the song, so it's kinda funny to see them get annoyed.

06. Speechless - The best ballad GaGa has done yet. I feel like this is how she did sound before she became famous and feel that this is how all her songs would sound if she got signed by a different label and her fame took a different track. I love it, one of her best songs, ever. It showcases her ability to write, sing and just be the hottest thing on two legs.

05. Poker Face - I fell in love with this song the instant I heard it. I remember Josh loving it too WAY before anybody knew what it was. I wanted so badly for this song to blow up in the states but thought because of the tongue-in-cheek lyrics and suggestive innuendos that it would never be released as a single, and if it was, no one would take her seriously. Oh, how wrong I was. This has proved to be her biggest success yet.

04. Monster - This is one of her tracks that I feel like she wrote just for me. The production is SICK and the lyrics are straight-forward and honest. I love the lyrics to this song so much. It's amazing. I really wish there was an uncensored version available. I wanna hear Lady GaGa say "f**ked".

03. Paper Gangsta - I can see why this was originally on the U.S. release until it's re-release overseas. It's very "American" and detours from the sound of the album (as does the song "Starstruck"). I LOVE this track and its message. She get's all ghetto in her delivery of the verses and it's hot. I love how she's singing about not needing some dude with money who thinks he's the shit and just turns out to be a shady not a very nice person. She wants something with substance and not some paper gangsta. She's a free bitch and made that very clear with this song. She's not gonna conform to some stereotype of woman or girlfriend and she wants a real man who can handle that.

02. Dance in the Dark - One of her most bizarre tracks, but it works from beginning to end. What I get out of this track is such depth and meaning. "She looks good but her boyfriend says she's a mess. Baby loves to dance in the dark, 'cause when he's lookin' she falls apart." The most powerful track, I swear she wrote this song about this lonely little insecure gay man. I love it. It almost took the top spot.

01. Bad Romance - This song is completely perfect from beginning to end. It comes at you hard and powerful with demented lyrics that are creepy yet romantic. She really belts this song out and the power of the woman's voice has never (and probably will never again) sound this amazing. This is another track that I feel was written just for me, and the production is SICK. Like, f**king awesome. Brava, Miss GaGa, you have officially made the best song ever. Period.

Notes: This list was SO hard to compile because I really do love her work. I was gonna make an honorable mention list, but I ended up putting virtually everything else she's released on it. I'm not one of "those" Britney fans, but I amd definitely one of "those" Lady GaGa fans. She's great and I have thought so long before she "got the gays" (it's a term my friends and I made up regarding celebrities and the media). I have liked her from day one and she is one of the few pop culture phenomenons that I can honestly say I DIDN'T hop on the bandwagon for, because I'm usually the guy who likes things WAY after they're cool or after the become mega popular.

B's song "Video Phone" is a completely separate track and has no relation to telephone other than the fact that the extended version features Lady GaGa. Video Phone was released over a year ago on her album "I Am... Sasha Fierce" and because of GaGa's success, they decided to feature her in a B song and vice versa and I'm sure they only picked "Video Phone" because Lady GaGa herself had plans to release a phone-related track too. And yes, "Video Phone" is not an amazing track. I can handle the normal version, it's aight, but it does not warrant being stretched to 5 mins and adding an awful Lady GaGa "rap"? I love GaGa and worship her holiness every day, but her appearance in that track is half-assed and not very good. "Telephone" is where it's at.

10) Eh Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say) - I remember telling CascadaXx early on in my Gaga love that I didn't particular like this song as much as others, but I was wrong and I apoligize for under-estimating this one
9) Dance in the Dark - This song really grew on me as well. With the 80s style melody thats rears its beautiful head throughout the song and the way it sounds like she is referring to a girl named 'Baby' in the chorus I think of the movie 'Dirty Dancing' in a weird way whenever I listen to this. Like Baby before she met Patrick's Swayze's character in the movie, how she felt.

5) Alejandro - Really grew into a Top 10 Gaga track, the best part of this song for me is the sic-nasty dance beat that 'grows' in volume as the chorus starts to come into play. Some other producers have been using this technique lately too, its cool, like in "Your Love is My drug" by Ke$Ha for instance.

2) Bad Romance - Love how this song is like an entire 'production' not just a good song. Any positive thing said about this song is correct and Still not enough. I mean the way the chorus comes into the song is pure genius.
