Bubblegum Dancer (also styled as BGDr) is an Australian website founded around 2006 by enthusiast Mitch Andrews. The site focuses on bringing detailed information and news of everything that happened, happens or will happen in the world of Bubblegum Dance. So far, it is the first and only website totally focused on this musical subgenre.
Brief Biography
It all started around the year 2005, when young Mitch Andrews first got in contact with Bubblegum dance, through the songs of Aqua and Toy-Box. Because of this, he soon does an intense research on the subgenre, however, the information about Bubblegum dance contained on the internet at that time was quite scarce, in addition to incorrect information regarding the credits. Seeing this fact, he soon decides to create a site on the internet to provide concrete and detailed information about Bubblegum dance, so around 2006 the site "Bubblegum Dancer" is launched. At first Bubblegum Dancer was a success, so much so that in a short period of time, it had already received more than 3,000 visitors from all over the world. Currently, the site already records more than 400 projects in its database, in addition to the three thousand songs that the site has already cataloged. For 13 years active, the site has already covered, exclusively, the various exciting and remarkable news related to Bubblegum dance, such as the return of SMiLE.dk (accompanied by an album and a new single) in 2008; the return of Aqua and Yummie in 2009. In 2010, the site still gets exclusive, to the new tracks from Blue Monster & Bikki and, in 2017, it gets again exclusively to the Crispy's Demo.
