Just figured I'd start the thread, I'll be bouncing in to give my overall review, just give a few more days I've gotten through the CD twice now in my car from random times driving around this weekend, but still obviously want to hear everything at least a few more times now, I will say this however thic CD is nowhere near a flop at all, it great!
I'd say 75% at least of the CD is still the same style, which was a relief. Yes a couple of songs, mainly 'Evacuate the Dancefloor' were made along the Lady Gaga veins, but lets be honest for a second who wouldnt try to cash-in on her success these days, I bet that was one of the last songs made for the album after they saw what Gaga was doing they moved in for the kill. Unfortunately for anyone who hears this single (which should get a big sales numbers) they may by the CD hoping to hear alot more of the same and they will be disappointed. We as dance music fans won't be disaapointed however. This is a move to get them album sales from more people overall (smart) and keep their original fans (uber-smart) and maybe make more fans because lets face it the original sound is close enough in overall music terms to the new sound to maybe allow people who wouldnt normally go for Cascada to say "hey, I wonder if they have more albums" and find them and "BOOM!" we get thousands more dance music fans.
'Evacuate the Dancefloor' the song is somewhere in the middle for me, I mean its a decent song, just really if you listen to it doesnt have enough 'flash' to it, it just kind of 'ah-ha' this okay. There are more songs like 'Fever' in my opinion, that have kind of a new sound, that I find to be gold for example.
