You might all recognize this as the "Getting Married" song I posted a while back, but I changed it and its done (still need someone to redo the female vocal parts [Hoshi?]). My sisters wedding has passed and I have a new inspiration for the song.

Any suggestions? I don't claim to be the best Bubblegum Dance producer, but with all your guys help and collective experience listening to Bubblegum Dance maybe that can change!

The male vocals are spot-on, almost sounds like Amir or Morgan (Hit n Hide).

I think the production is pretty good! Will this be an Extended Mix? I think a normal song should only be about 3mins.

I do think the song will be a LOT better with better female vocals, but you'd need a really clear recording, so I'm not sure if an over-the-internet recording will work.

Interesting concept for a song! It's pretty funny ;D

That's really good! I like the male vocals a lot, he sounds a lot like the male Aqua lead. The main vocals are a little iffy though. It's very talky.. and not so much singing. The tune is spot on lyrics are spot on. You need a good girl singer for your songs then they'd be perfect!

Yeah it really needs REAL female vocals hahaha. Im only doing the female vocals myself so when I get a girl singer i can just play the song and she will know the notes right away. Makes it a lot easier. Plus since they are on Youtube I can easily refer prospective singers to them without having to meet them in person first. Saves a lot of time. Im sure I will find a singer soon, i just need to get more active regarding it. And over the internet like you say definitely would be hard.

The optimum solution would be if the person had a decent microphone ($50 USD). The one I use is a Shure SM58 for demo's and live performance. Gets the job done. Then with a simple recording program like the free program Audacity (Mac and Windows) or Garage Band works too, they record a few seconds of nothing before starting recording. You record the vocals while listening to the music through headphones, with one side of the headphones off a little so you can hear yourself singing. Then when I get the recording I use the the silence they recorded to remove the background noise. Then is easy after that.

That pretty much sums up what you would need to do to get a minimum quality recording.

If you think this is good production my new song is much better in my opinion. Working on it right now. And yeah its an extended mix. If enough people ask I can do a Radio Edit.

The "he" singing is me so thanks! And thats my real voice, not put through any vocal processors and stuff

But yeah im working on getting a female singer...one has to show up soon, according to the law of averages hahaha.

Notice you changed your avatar pic. Where/what was your old from anyways. It reminds me of some artist i cant remember. It would be cool to have has a picture on a wall I think.

That old avatar was a picture of me that I commissioned a year ago from a local artist. She's fantastic! I actually do have the full one on my wall in my room haha.

The new one is also me, drawn by someone else of me with my kitty.

By the way, how do you get your singers? Do you record with them in your hometown or could you make a backing track and send it to someone over the net. Someone on here might be willing to sing for you.

I do sing, but I don't have the cutesy barbie girl voice, mines a little more mature, maybe like Daze's vocals. I also don't have very good recording equipment at home. Makes my voice sound odd. But If the song was right for me I would try.... I dunno if you'd be interested...

Well, you see... I don't know exactly how to explain this, but um....well the female vocals are actually me...i mean, you see I use vocal transformer software hahaha. It has limitations but it's still much better than taking a bunch of Estrogen for months to get my voice high pitched. Plus no strange side effects, and I like my manliness.

Im actively seeking a female counterpart for NewTrix. Until I find a good match, im doing a lot of the female vocals myself so when I do get someone in the studio they will know the general idea behind the song and make it way easier and faster to do a proper recording.

Pretty funny huh? Its really fun to actually just mess around with the Vocal Transformer. Lots of entertainment!

As far as the procedure for recording, i pretty much summed up what is needed in one of my responses to MITCH above. U might be able to do it.

Im always interested in anyone who wants to collaborate or sing. I have other Non -Bubblegum Dance songs that could use female vocals, and I could easily make some BGD songs that would match your voice.
