Biography:
Vera, Linda und Lina – that are 3 female artists between 18 and 23 years old who join forces as WIR 3. After their first party hit “Heyah Mama” they release their second single on September 21, 2007. „KUMA HE“ is the name of the new song which has everything a hit needs: a fresh, funny and catchy melody which you can’t get out of your head; accompanied by African drums and an exotic sound. The African appearing chorus of the song moves you into the dark continent and let you go for adventures. But mainly the three young interprets show pure vitality by the song „KUMA HE“.
The blond Vera hasn’t even finished her apprenticeship at drama school but is already known by the popular German TV daily soap “Unter uns” of RTL. Moreover she took part in several movies, e. g. for the German TV station ZDF as well as in 2 big cinema movies whose premieres will still take place in future. The comedy Wilhelm Tell, which Vera acts in as lady’s maid, should be shown this autumn. Besides the acting also the singing goes along with Vera. She took singing lessons for more than 10 years and enriches WIR 3 today with her bright and clear soprano.
The dark-haired Linda has received her school diploma last year and is now 20 years old. There is just one dream existing for her which is fulfilled by WIR 3: performing as singer on stage! To let her dream come true Linda has taking singing lessons from the age of 13. Since then she enters every stage and performs each music the audience would like to hear – from folk songs to international pop songs Linda sings everything, the main thing is that is music! Therefore the music maniac was also shown in TV several times already. Today she is very happy to be part of WIR 3 and to be able to make her own music.
The youngest band member is the 18-year-old Lina. She speaks 5 different languages – Lithuanian, Russian, German, English and French – and attends the 12th grade of the German grammar school. As she was 3 years old she came from Lithuania to Germany together with her parents. The talented schoolgirl isn’t only good in learning for school but she also plays the piano, dances, sings, acts and loves to hit the road. She was 9 years old as she joins the children’s ensemble of the Berlin “Friedrichstadtpalast” and attended acting, dancing and singing lessons and took part in the children’s revue “Hansel and Gretel” as Gretel. Moreover she graduated a 2-year-apprenticship at the acting school “Academy” and has been successful with her school theatre group. Alongside she also collected experiences as voice actor for children’s CDs with poems and songs. But Lina is especially proud of her function as cheerleader of ALBA Berlin – one of Germany’s most successful Basket ball teams.
With WIR 3 Lina turns over a completely new leaf in her all-round career and would like to enter the charts with „Kuma hé“ as with “Heyah Mama” – till the top of course!
WIR 3 could already post a first big success with their hit “Heyah Mamma”. Within the “Goldene Radio TEDDY Awards” in the end of August 2007 the cute female singers received the “Newcomer Award” of the radio station TEDDY which could celebrate its second birthday with this award show. Accompanied by the jubilation of 2.000 small and big fans WIR 3 entered the stage to take this treasured award. The girl group was completely surprised about this awards. The award is very valuable for WIR 3 because radio TEDDY as well as their listeners are important for the act. And that this is based on mutual sympathy shows the newcomer award which was celebrated by a 2-hour-long birthday party of radio TEDDY.
On September 21 WIR 3 will start working further on with their second single “Kuma hé” and they are sure that the single will even beat the success of the debut single. “Kuma hé will be a hit” says Linda assured and Lina and Vera agree!
