Everybody I'm sure knows how these threads go, so, let's go at it!
DJ Haze's Ch!pz Top 10
10) Superhero Even though talking parts near the end of the song can get on my nerves a little bit it doesn't do enough to detract from the rest of the song. The 'deep space' sounding background music in the verses is my favorite part of the song. The rest of the song is just too catchy not to keep out of this list.
9) All the Way Everytime I hear this I think it's from a High School Musical movie or something and they are all dancing on tables in cafeteria LOL. More pop style from them, and it changes it up when you listen to this and other songs like "Aint Nobody" for instance and makes them flexible.
8) Haunted House Fun theme. Since I like horror movies as a genre this naturally struck me right, because that is an old school 'scary story teller' voice you hear throughout, its so cool. Love the choice for the synth parts, very appropriate. Love rigth before the chorus, where their all like "a monster what?....a wolf! nooooo"
7) The Happy Hook Cuteness factor is off the charts here. You feel so childish when you listen to this, but its funny. This is most evident in the chorus, because the beat/melody they sing to is so like they are in elementary school teaching a dance.
6) In the Game (The Football Song) OMG love this being a sports themed song, especially since I love soccer. Wow does the song itself deliver too. Love the "Ch!pz is in the game!"parts, and the announcers coming in is perfect! Love the crowd roars. And the male vocals are so hard and in your face, love it.
5) Captain Hook Again love the theme. Thats why I love Ch!pz so much each song tells it's own story. Favorite part is the "This is the pirate's life..." Love hearing Captain Hook chiming in. The way the chorus is sung, that is the real HOOK
4) Veni Vidi Vici A song that grew on me. When the Roman Consul yells to stop Ch!pz from escaping the arena it's classic. The friekin beat right after an extroadinarily catchy chorus is incredible. The best line is "Like Julius Caesar we say, the winner takes it all" one of my favorite lines for Ch!pz
3) Lambada Song So chilled back, great Latin flavor. Has been a favorite of mine from the day I started really listening to Ch!pz. The verses are so smooth, then the chorus explodes on you everytime.
2) 1001 Arabian Nights A favorite for most Ch!pz fans, and it is obvious to see why. Great theme. Great lyrics, vocals on point. The way the do the 1-0-0-1 and the dance to match in the video are priceless.
1) Waikiki Beach One of the genre definers for me. There are few songs in bubblegum dance that have their own class, and this is one of them. I cant explain to you guys how high my energy level is, whenever this song is on. Man the opening Caribbean melody and then picks up to a full crazy-cool synth extravaganza. The song doesn't have parts as far as verses, bridges, and chorus it just all flows together, in fact I pass out and go into another zone with this song and wake up when its over.
