Sorry Bubblegum Dancers, I am going to go arcade nerdy in this thread for the sake of other people that own the same game as me since I have not found an arcade thread I enjoy.
*Not my machine
Cool Gunman Manual without schematics download [Japanese]
Now, I have found out that Namco's Cool Gunman is not very common to come across. I recently bought my machine from a guy that got his new from a shipment direct from Japan with another local arcade dealer. In total, that accounts for all three machines that are in my state right now. After speaking with the other local owner, he was less than helpful to the problems I already knew about with the machine. At best that the light sensors go out for the Xenon bulb, that also goes out, through the fiber optic cable, that also dies as well. After doing a good amount of looking over my machine, I found that I had two light sensors go out and two bad launcher PCBs, as they are called in the Japanese manual. I am still looking into getting them fixed, but on a later date. Now, what I have found is that Namco does not deal with this game anymore, thus I don't feel bad for posting their manual as their Japanese and American sectors do not want my money and do not care to help me, even telling me that I should not have bought that machine in the first place. Any of Namco's subsidiaries are even less helpful, thus I have turned to the internet. I have posted a video of my machine and a scanned in PDF file of my manual, which took a hella long time to scan in might I add. Thus, I am trying to help out anyone that sees this post that owns this game.
Known Negatives:
Uncovered playfield
Working Launcher PCB
Worked on Launcher PCB that fires half the time
Working Launcher
Almost uncovered playfield
The game is amazing, I just know it's a handful to work on and deal with. Hope this helps someone. For Bubblegum Dancers, I hope you learned something about this very uncommon game~
More to come when I learn about it.

Known Negatives:
- Japanese only manual, still getting it translated
- Xenon light bulb goes out, still do not know of a replacement for that
- Fiber Optic cable goes out, currently looking into this for a third party replacement
- Cans get stolen, use nonreturnable cans
- Launcher PCBs have certain problems, currently looking into fixing. Do not know what to test for either SSR, logic boards, or the inductor are bad
- Annoying to work on with the ding-dong every 30 seconds to a minute
- When errors the game goes into error mode, currently translating errors
- If one of the Launcher PCB boards is unplugged (the 2x3 plug in) the game will not start up and will go into error mode
- Aperture is better with a smaller lens or a bigger one? Jury is out on that
- You're still a few coins shy
